Foldable phones are on the horizon. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 will be announced tomorrow. This will be followed by the Moto Razr 2022 on 11th August, and now Xiaomi has announced the arrival of Mix Fold 2. This will also come on 11th August, so we’ll have a foldable party.

Foldable phones will rain August 10. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 will launch first, followed by Motorola’s Razr 2022 on August 11. Xiaomi’s Mix Fold 2 will also be released on August 11.
The company posted a Weibo teaser showing the phone’s metallic hinge. The poster reveals that the Mix Fold 2 will use Xiaomi’s new Leica partnership. The Combine Fold 2 may copy the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3’s design. Expect an inward-folding device with an exterior display.
The new foldable phone will have a 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8-inch folding screen, according to leaks. Both screens could boost the Blend Fold’s 60Hz refresh rate to 120Hz.
Xiaomi has improved the screen’s creasing and added LTPO technology.
The Mi Blend Fold came with a Snapdragon 888 chip, so it’s safe to assume the Blend Fold 2 will have a premium Qualcomm SoC, perhaps the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. We’ll soon know.
The Mix Fold 2 will have a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch folding display, but the refresh rate will be 120Hz instead of 60Hz.
