Vivo V25: Everything we know so far

Vivo V25

Vivo has a good reputation for solid, affordable smartphones.

Now, rumours are surfacing about what we’ll see when the Vivo V25 and V25 Pro launch in a few weeks. What we know about upcoming devices.

What about Vivo V24

While logic suggests the Vivo V23 5G’s successor would be the V24 5G, the company confirmed it’ll be the V25 series announced in the coming weeks. Vivo skipped the V22, going from V21 to V23 for no apparent reason.

There are suspicions that the 4 in the name is unlucky in the Eastern market, but that doesn’t explain the V22.

Release Date

The upcoming V25 range will be released two months after the expected June/July release.

Anonymous sources told 91Mobiles Hindi that the Vivo V25 Pro will be released on 25 August 2022. Vivo India confirmed the announcement on Twitter days later, with the 17 August 2022 launch scheduled for 12pm local time.

UK, US, and European availability is unknown. Many India-bound smartphones never reach Europe.

Vivo hasn’t announced the device’s price or release date. We have previous models to follow. Last couple V-series prices:

  • Vivo V23: £350/$470 (€499/29,990).
  • Vivo V23 Pro: £390/€460/$520.
  • Vivo V21 ($399/€399/29,990)
  • Vivo only recently began releasing devices outside of Asia and select other regions, with some models coming to Europe. The Vivo V21 5G will arrive in the UK in 2021, while the V23 5G is only available in Europe.

We don’t know where the V25 or its rumoured Pro variants will launch outside India. Vivo is one of many Chinese brands that doesn’t have a US presence.

Some rumours suggest how the new model will look when it’s released, but most have focused on the more powerful V25 Pro.

The V23 5G specs, which will likely be similar to the V25, are as follows:
