Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro wear Wear OS 3.5 and One UI Watch 4.5. Shortly after debut, the firm began testing an update for the Galaxy Watch 4 series, adding new capabilities. Samsung has released One UI Watch 4.5 on the stable channel after six beta releases.
Samsung said yesterday that it will no longer distribute One UI Watch beta updates. Galaxy Watch 4 customers have already started receiving the stable update, which was not mentioned in the Samsung Community forum article (firmware version GVH2).

What’s new added in UI watch 4.5
Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy Z Fold will get One UI 4.1.1. Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic get One UI Watch 4.5. Samsung will upgrade the Galaxy Watch 3 and Active 2 with One UI Watch 4.5 features.
Taskbar, introduced with the Galaxy Z Fold 4, delivers PC-like multitasking to the tablet. It speeds app switching. Other One UI 4.1.1 features include multi-window opening and multi-tasking gestures. Galaxy Z Fold 4 introduced Dual Preview. The primary and cover displays show the image preview.
Quick Shot on older Galaxy Z Flip models enables you preview and capture images in their native ratio on the cover screen. All the latest Flip cover display improvements included.
One UI 4.5 adds watch faces and customization features to prior Galaxy Watch models. New QWERTY keyboard makes typing easier. Two new watch faces and snore detection included in the Galaxy Watch 3 and 2 update. The Samsung Health Monitor app will also be available for these devices.
Software updates will add these functionalities. Starting today, the first update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will go out globally.
Slovenia and Canada now have One UI 4.5 on the Galaxy Watch 4.
