Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro haven’t been discussed much before their August 10 unveiling. A recent rumour gives us an official-looking render of the devices, complete with hardware specs and features.
The story comes from WinFuture.de, and a picture of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro in Zenith Gray was leaked to go with it. There is also supposed to be a Bora Purple colour option for them. The new version doesn’t look too different from the Galaxy Buds Pro that came before it.
Samsung’s “Intelligent Active Noise Cancellation” will be one of the new features of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. The article says that it should get rid of “even the loudest ambient noise.” “Ambient mode” will be available. It lets the user listen to music while hearing their environment.
It is said that the earbuds will have a 10 mm driver and several microphones built in. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are said to have a battery life of up to eight hours on a single charge and up to 29 hours when used with their charging case. They will also be water resistant to an IPX7 level.
The article says that the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will cost €229. This is in line with a leak that said they would cost $229 here in the US. Keep in mind that Samsung hasn’t confirmed any of this information, but we’ll find out in less than a week if this leak is true.
Other Features
The report also says that the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will have the expected ambient mode and a conversation mode that is more focused. When it hears the wearer’s voice, this automatically turns on ambient mode. The buds will also have sound that comes from all directions and an IPX7 rating. Each bud has a 10mm driver that makes the sound.
The report says that Bluetooth 5.3 is used by the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. As for battery life, they can run for up to eight hours without the charging case and up to 29 hours with it. The charging case can be charged using USB-C.
