Roku’s fall lineup is essentially unchanged, with a few exceptions. Today, Roku introduced an updated Roku Express with dual-band Wi-Fi for more reliable streaming. The device is still $29.99 and will be in shops on October 16.
The Roku Express is Roku’s initial streaming device that adheres to 1080p quality; you need the Roku Express 4K Plus to watch 4K / Ultra HD video. The basic Express comes with Roku’s simplest remote, so you’ll need to utilise the company’s mobile app for private listening. The updated Express arrives before Google’s planned Chromecast HD next month.
Roku’s lowest streaming stick is unchanged in 2022. It’s still $30 and only streams in Full HD. The new Roku Express goes on sale October 16 for $30 and is available for pre-order now. The low price makes it suitable for budget-conscious streamers.
Roku also includes a bass boost feature. The Wireless Bass may wirelessly pair with Roku’s Streambar, Wireless Speakers, or TV Wireless Soundbar to provide bass. Wireless Bass is cheaper and more compact than the Wireless Subwoofer.
Pre-order the $130 subwoofer. It’s out November 7 in the US. The Streambar combo costs $250.
