Android 13 QPR1 won’t be stable till December. QPR1 Beta 1 has revealed several new changes to the software, including a Face Unlock option, and camera details of the forthcoming Pixel foldable, slated for 2023. Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1 brings another modification to Pixel Recorder.
9to5Google reports that the latest beta version of Recorder is 3.7.454794857, up from 3.5.456678826. This app targets API 33 and comes with Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1.
The Android 13 is Media Player supported. The latest version provides a larger pause/play button on the right, along with 5-second rewind and 10-second forward buttons.
The three-dot overflow menu in a recording includes “Create video clip” and “Export transcript to Google Docs,” while the Recorder app only has Share, Rename, and Delete. In Recorder 3.5’s share sheet, you can convert the recording to a video and export the transcript to Google Docs.
Google has also solved a fault where the “Currently recording” signal would appear only a few seconds after starting the recording, and various dialogue boxes have been shortened and streamlined.
Google may release pixel Recorder 3.7 via the Play Store. However, it could also be bundled with Android 13 QPR1 later this year, according to 9to5Google.
