Release date
The Oppo Reno 8 has no official release date, and the manufacturer hasn’t confirmed the reports. We’ll reference an earlier generation.
Oppo launched the Reno 7 series in November 2021; the devices go on sale in China on December 3 and in India in February. The Oppo Reno 6 series came in China in May 2021, so the Reno 8 could arrive in May 2022.

ColorOS 12.1 runs on Android 12 The display is Netflix HD, Amazon HDR, SGS Low Motion Blur, and SGS Low Blue Light certified. The smartphone sports an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Oppo Reno 8 Pro has 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The Reno 8 Pro has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens and f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The phone’s camera will operate better in bright and dim light with the MariSilicon X NPU. It boasts a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.4 lens.
