iPad Pro 2022 debuted on retailers site before launch.

MacRumors revealed that one big merchant is adding the iPad Pro 2022 to its systems.

Some consumers have already ordered the iPad Pro 2022, even though it won’t arrive for another month.

MacRumors sources say the iPad Pro is listed in Optus’ online inventory system. The sources suggest a fourth-generation 11-inch iPad Pro with 512GB storage and LTE connectivity for A$2,100.

That’s a generation ahead of the 3rd-gen 11-inch iPad Pro, which launched in 2021. According to listings, this device is $200 cheaper than the “new” iPad Pro.

According to invoices received by MacRumors, numerous Optus customers managed to order one of these mystery new iPads.

This client was told that the first iPad Pro model, believed to be the 2022 model, will take two weeks to arrive at a local store. It is unclear if this is tied to the device’s launch date or merely an usual timeline given by personnel for orders shipped to retail locations.

Optus’s system doesn’t yet feature iPad Pro characteristics, but employees expect an update. They don’t know when this upgrade will happen or when the device will be available.

2022 iPad Pro variants with the same storage are more expensive at Optus. Total monthly payments are $2,100. This is $200 ($137 USD) higher than Australia’s $1,899 iPad Pro model. It’s unclear if these rates constitute a price boost for the next iPad pro or just provisional statistics on Optus’s system.

The fact that 2022 iPad Pro variants are in major carriers’ systems could signal that the tablets will launch sooner rather than later. Apple is anticipated to offer new iPad Pro models in October because iPadOS 16 has been delayed.

Next-generation iPad Pro devices may include the M2 processor, MagSafe wireless charging, two new four-pin connectors, and camera enhancements.
