Huawei Mate 50 Pro debuted in China this month and now goes global. The phone has a large notched display, 50MP main camera, and variable aperture.

The phone’s 5G capabilities are disabled owing to US sanctions. Huawei utilized Kunlun Glass instead of Gorilla Glass for the same reason.
In China, the Mate 50 Pro has satellite connectivity, although the worldwide model uses Beidou Satellite Message 3. Local units use EMUI 13 instead of Harmony OS 3.0.
Huawei’s extreme aperture camera has a 10-size aperture. Huawei’s clever aperture dynamically adjusts in auto mode to match the scene. To manually modify depth of field and blur, switch to professional mode.

The Mate 50 series has a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 with 4G. 4,700mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless SuperCharge.
Without Google, it’s impossible to suggest the Mate 50 series. Mate 50 Pro (8GB + 256GB) will cost €1,299 ($1,249) in black or silver, and €1,399 ($1,346) in orange.
