After adding a Commute toggle for traffic, Pixel’s At a Glance widget now shows “Food and household order delivery and pickup status.”
This “Food and household orders” toggle is older than Pixel Launcher’s At a Glance settings. The latter has modern features including Bluetooth battery status, doorbell previews, and a flashlight, while the former has weather and upcoming events (Calendar, reminders, etc.).
This update, which takes both feature lists to eight entries, shows “Delivery and pickup status.” The setting appears to have arrived after a server-side push (rather than an app update) on Android 12 and 13 devices.
We’ve been tracking three new At a Glance features for the forthcoming Pixel Feature Drop. “Food delivery arrival status” connects with DoorDash.
The functionality Google describes today sounds broader and should find more usage, assuming it applies to more types of orders/packages.
How to Enable At a Glance feature
- Press and hold the home screen of your Pixel.
- Tap Home settings.
- Tap At a Glance, not the gear button next to it.
- Select Turn on to enable the At a Glance widget.
- Now, tap the gear button next to the At a Glance option in the Home settings.
- Browse through and enable all the features you want.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap See more features.
- Again, browse through and enable all the features you want.
