The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro (Google pixel phones) signaled a new beginning for Google’s phone portfolio with a new style and design, which trickled down to the Pixel 6a.
Digital Chat Station, a trusted leaker, recently hinted about Google’s ambitions to capitalise on its phone’s design on Weibo.
What you should be aware of
- Future Google Pixel phones may be made of ceramic.
- Future ceramic smartphone will reportedly have a 2K display and Tensor 2 CPU.
- Foxconn will reportedly build two of Google’s upcoming flagship phones, including its first foldable.
The leaker believes two of Google’s forthcoming flagship phones would be made by Apple’s iPhone manufacturer, Foxconn. Google’s reported foldable phone, the “Pixel Notepad,” and a high-end Pixel flagship are presumably the two phones.
According to a fresh rumour, Google will use ceramic for its future Pixel smartphones. This explains two of Google’s next devices.
According to Digital Chat Station, Google is teaming with Foxconn to manufacture the Pixel flagship and foldable phone in China. Google previously moved its manufacturing to Vietnam, so this is surprising. The source also claims the Pixel flagship phone is made of ceramic. Digital Chat Station just claims this phone will have a 2K display and Tensor 2 chipset.
The foldable Google Pixel and its cameras have leaked extensively. Mr. Chat Station’s post is more intriguing because the claimed Pixel phone is ceramic.
Google has utilized plastic, glass, and metal, but never ceramic. Other phones, including the OPPO Find X5 Pro, have also used ceramic. It’s rare, though.
Google Pixel phones Some Leaked Specs
The ceramic Pixel is said to include a 2048 1080 screen, a center punch-hole for the selfie camera, a 50MP main camera, a periscope zoom snapper, and Google’s 2nd-generation Tensor chip. The normal telephoto camera would employ a Sony IMX787 64 MP sensor.
Moreover according to 9to5Google, the features and luxury materials indicated above could be used in a new premium Pixel phone that Google plans to introduce as a competitor to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Not the Pixel 7, though.
