Fitbit releases Sense 2, Versa 4, and Inspire 3

Fitbit just releases the Inspire 3, Versa 4, and Sense 2 wearables. The three fitness trackers and smartwatches are now available to pre-order before September. So, if you’ve had an eye on some of the manufacturer’s latest tech, we’ve gathered up exactly where you can buy them right now.

Before you buy, learn what each new device offers. See Fitness & Wellbeing Editor Matt Evans’ early thoughts of all three new Fitbit gadgets.

You can pre-order the Fitbit Inspire 3, Fitbit Versa 4, and Fitbit Sense 2 below. Fitbit gives six months of Fitbit Premium (down from 12 months), rebates, and extra accessories depending on the model.

Fitbit Sense 2

The Fitbit Sense 2 is the company’s most advanced fitness smartwatch. It has premium features for stress management, sleep tracking, and ECG monitoring. That’s in addition to Google Wallet, Google Maps, and call and text notifications from your phone.

All-day body reaction tracking identifies stress tendencies and advises breathing exercises and meditations. Detailed tracking of your travels to Nod breaks down your previous night’s sleep, indicates how long you spent in each phase, and suggests ways to enhance your sleep.

  • Pre-order the Fitbit Sense 2 for $299.95 from Fitbit US
  • Pre-order the Fitbit Sense 2 for £269.99 from Fitbit UK

Fitbit Inspire 3

The Fitbit Inspire 3 is comparable to its predecessor. This basic and easy-to-use fitness tracker monitors heart rate, sleep, and stress. Newer features include stress management and menstrual cycle tracking.

New design, but same specs and capabilities as before. This is the cheapest new wearable and has a 10-day battery life, so it’s excellent for casual fitness tracker users.

  • Pre-order the Fitbit Inspire 3 for $99.95 from Fitbit US
  • Pre-order the Fitbit Inspire 3 for £84.99 from Fitbit UK

Fitbit Versa 4

The Fitbit Versa 4 is a watered-down version of the Sense 2. It has a similar style and design, including a new physical button, but sacrifices high-end capabilities to lower the price.

The Versa 4 can’t read ECG, EDA, or cEDA. The Versa 4 won’t have Body Response.

It supports all Versa 3 functions plus some others. Google Maps and Wallet will be supported. Versa 3 has 20 additional fitness modes, including HIIT, dancing, and weight-lifting. Fitbit Premium subscribers get sleep monitoring and Sleep Profile.

Fitbit Sense 2 has all these characteristics. The 2022 Versa seems to be the best choice for most people, while the 2022 Sense is for those who desire a comprehensive health outlook.

  • Pre-order the Fitbit Versa 4 for $229.95 from Fitbit US
  • Pre-order the Fitbit Versa 4 for £199.99 from Fitbit UK

As these devices were just introduced, we won’t see large reductions yet. Because of this, most of the pre-orders we’ve featured contain free bonuses or cashback.

With time, fitness trackers and smartwatches from prior generations should get cheaper.
