Buying Chinese Android phone gets a terrible rap: we’ve all bought something online and received something different or nothing at all. Chinese phones lead all our main smartphone charts, so don’t generalize.
Huawei without Google services isn’t as appealing as it once was, but other Chinese brands have stepped in. Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Vivo, and others offer amazing value for money, with superior build quality and feature sets you’d expect from top Android phones, but at a lower price range.
Here are the top Chinese phones available in the UK. If these prices are too high, consider considering cheap Chinese phones.
1. Oppo Find X5 Pro
The Oppo Find X5 Pro is a beautiful, powerful phone. This flagship has an excellent display, solid performance, a decent battery and charging, and a superb camera, all in a distinctive design.
2. OnePlus Nord 2
A terrific follow-up to 2020’s greatest midrange phone, featuring 5G, Oxygen OS, and a near-flagship main camera. Love it! The OnePlus Nord 2 highlights the company’s ability to priorities user-wanted functionality in an appealing package with a compelling price point.
Wireless charging and waterproofing are the only features the Nord 2 lacks.
3. Xiaomi 12
Xiaomi 12 is a top-tier smartphone. Its compact size will appeal to individuals who don’t want a big phone, and the design is superb.
You also get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, 120Hz AMOLED screen, and 67W charging. It has a superb main camera and an ultra-wide lens, but few purchasers will care about a telemacro lens.
The Xiaomi 12 has many positives, but it’s not waterproof and has average battery life.
4. OnePlus 10T
The OnePlus 10 Pro is the king of Chinese smartphones. Recently released in its home nation, this phone allegedly performs well in most areas. Global release is imminent. It includes 8 or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage. This OnePlus phone is as fast as they come. The 10 Pro has a 6.7-inch QuadHD 120Hz LTPO2 AMOLED display. OnePlus’ premium device sports a 48MP main camera and 50MP ultra-wide camera. 5,000mAh battery with 80W quick wired charging lasts a day. It charges wirelessly quickly.
All of this comes at a price, which may seem hefty for some considering OnePlus used to brag about making flagship phones at affordable costs, but you can always go for the cheaper OnePlus 9 or OnePlus 9 Pro, which are still terrific phones.
5. ZTE Axon 0 Ultra
ZTE’s latest flagship released in May. The Axon 40 Ultra has a huge camera module, top-notch technology, and a matte back. It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 120Hz screen refresh rate, 8 to 16GB of RAM, and 5,000mAh battery with 65W rapid wired charging.
The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra boasts three 64MP cameras, one with 3.5x optical zoom. It’s affordable, beginning at $780. This phone features the greatest 16MP under-display selfie camera currently available. This phone hits all the criteria for a true flagship, so don’t underestimate it.
6. Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro
Xiaomi’s Redmi line includes mid-range and affordable phones. The Redmis offer powerful hardware and good cameras at affordable rates. The Redmi Note 11 Pro has a 120Hz AMOLED screen.
We haven’t seen it yet, but you can read our reviews of the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro to get a feel for it. This phone isn’t accessible in most western areas, however the Redmi Note 10 Pro is.
Conclusion
The best Chinese cellphones are listed above. Realme and Poco have caught up to the competition, while Xiaomi and Oppo are breathing down Samsung’s neck. This list features several good Android phones, and most of them are true flagships.
