Android 13 exterminates 151 Google Pixel bugs with August software patch

Google Pixel Bugs Fixes: Google sent the stable version of Android 13 to Pixel phones yesterday, along with a number of bug fixes.

Google issued a long list of fixes for its finest Android phones. Connectivity difficulties are improved. Wi-Fi dropped unexpectedly on the Google Pixel 6 series.

The update should fix several current Bluetooth difficulties. Google Assistant and audio difficulties were also fixed. Google solved a battery problem that stops charging before 100%. Google shared the change list on Pixel Phone Help. The latest Android release fixed an issue that caused the battery to stop charging before 100%. The upgrade improves idle power consumption, a complaint from Pixel users. Google’s Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a received the following Biometrics updates:

  • Fix for sporadic fingerprint issues.
  • Improve fingerprint haptics unlock latency.
  • Performance, stability, and dependability are improved.
  • Improve fingerprint unlock in low light.

The Pixel 6 series’ under-display fingerprint sensor was slow and unreliable, and it let unregistered fingerprints unlock the Pixel 6a.

Android 13 fixed an issue that prevented double-tapping to wake the screen. Google improved Wi-Fi stability and performance under certain scenarios. Green or flickering screens should no longer be an issue.

Other problem fixes for qualifying models include:

  • Palm detection and response improvements (Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a).
  • GPS accuracy and stability improvements in some circumstances (Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a).
  • Improve Picture-in-Picture stability in some apps and situations.

  • General adaptive brightness response enhancements (Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a).
  • Certain variables improve haptic feedback strength and response.
  • General device performance improvements.
  • General system stability and performance improvements.
  • Fix for dropped calls while merging calls (Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a).
  • Fix call placement issue caused by inaccurate incoming call message (Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a).
  • Restart device when network handover happens (Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a).
  • General network stability and performance improvements.
  • Fix for Picture-in-Picture flickering in certain cases.
  • Fix for Clock icon showing incorrect time in some cases
  • Fix for keyboard colour scheme issue in dark mode setup
  • Fix for overview highlighting a prior app when using 3-button navigation
  • Fix for device setup screen rotation issue
  • Fix for Picture-in-Picture flickering in certain cases
  • Fix for issue causing screen to turn off with incoming notification under certain conditions
